Grant Park has long been one of Washburn's outstanding
resources, adding quality to the lives of young as well
as older citizens. It offers a double tennis court,
baseball diamond, four pavillions for gatherings, three
on the south and west sides of Snag Creek which flows
through the well kept grounds. There is an ongoing
maintenance and replacement of playground equipment,
and activity areas. The park was donated by the Ireland
Family in memory of their son, Grant.
Half Moon Prairie
Park is a more recent
addition to the village, offering two baseball diamonds
as well as playground equipment and an exercise trail.
